Concerning Grand Concours Certificates


Note: Please store extra certificates from year to year. Always state on–hand supply on Form E Order Sheet. The administrator can then send additional certificates with the tests. The object is to avoid sending certificates with prizes. They are poor mailing companions.

    Students are eligible to receive the following Certificats:

  1. .... de Lauréat National

    awarded to the top 10 scores in each level. In Levels 01, 1 and 2, the range is usually from 61 to 70 (70 questions total); in Levels 3, 4 and 5, the range is usually from 51 to 60. (60 questions total). A minimum number will be sent with tests. Let the Eastern Mass Administrator, know the actual number that is needed after receiving the 2007 results. One or two extras will be included.

  2. .... d'Honneur

    awarded to those scores in the top 20th percentile of their level, determined by the 2007 Results which will be posted on line. Let the Eastern Mass Administrator know the actual number that is needed when scores are posted. One or two extras will be included. See 2006 Resultsto get an idea of last year's scores.

  3. ....de Réussite

    awarded to those whose score puts them in the top 50th percentile of their level. RŽussite certificates numbering 50% of each school's enrollment will be sent with the tests and CDs in February.

  4. .... d'Assiduité ou de Mérite

    awarded to those who were motivated to apply their French skills and participate in this National Contest. Must be ordered. If you want to use these certificates, please let the administrator know on your initial order.

    When the scores are announced in April, each school is asked to verify the number of certificates needed and to order additional ones that they will need based on their students' results. The National Board of the AATF will make these averages available on their web site All about Scores: Check out #2 and #5!
